2024 has been a great year and one of the first huge weddings of the season was Sharanya and Arjun’s traditional South Indian Tamil wedding that took place at Hayes Mansion for the ceremony and San Jose Marriott for the reception!
We started bright and early when it was still dark outside but that is not a problem because we live very close to the mansion and could literally just walk over! We also brought small portable video lights to capture everything that needs to be shot in the dimly lit rooms.
For the ceremony we did a multi-cam livestream direct to youtube so guests in India could watch the wedding and be part of the action and experience it firsthand. The ceremony was nearly four hours long!
After the ceremony we did family photos and everyone had lunch and then it was time for the bride and groom to take a break and start preparing for the reception.
We were able to take a short rest before heading to the reception venue where we got set up again. The decor was done by Flowers by Edgar and Fine Linen Creation, and needless to say, it was amazing!
