Juhi and Paavan held their South Indian (Kannada) wedding ceremony at one of the cutest venues in the Bay Area, Sunol’s Casa Bella. This property has a gorgeous well maintained outdoor area and well-appointed banquet hall to meet all the needs of a wedding with around 150 or fewer people.
The bridal suite at Casa Bella is a great place for getting ready shots and that is where we met Juhi the morning of the wedding to capture her getting ready. We like to do a mix of color and black and white to tell the story and show the transformation from an everyday look into a bridal look!
We had them do a first-look prior to the ceremony so they could get some shots alone without everyone there. Also, the morning light is exquisite in Sunol and this venue has so many photo locations that you just have to take advantage of them. We also shoot decor, do drone shots, and set up live streaming, all while we are shooting the portraits, etc. It’s all about teamwork.
The ceremony was a traditional Hindu wedding in the South Indian style and after there was a session of family photos and finally lunch. The weddings during Covid 19 were small, yet beautiful! We look forward to capturing many more Indian weddings at Casa Bella in Sunol and hope you enjoy going through some of our favorite images below!
