Vasudha and Sundeep held their wedding reception at this hidden gem of a venue, Grand Hyatt SFO! This hotel literally sits on the runway at San Francisco International Airport and has floor-to-ceiling windows in the foyer where guests can watch planes enter and depart the terminals. It is so cool!
We started the day by capturing the couple getting ready in their suite. The rooms are modern and well-lit with those large windows that look onto the runway.
The lobby is on the second floor and that is where we took the couple for their pre-reception photo shoot. There were lots of cool decor and furniture pieces to accentuate our images with. We also did some cool lighting techniques to make the images more unique. This wedding was five days long, so each day we introduced different techniques so the images are not all repetitive. We want each photo session with the couple to bring something new and different in terms of lighting and posing.
The event included lots of wonderful speeches, dances, and an amazing dinner and ice cream by the awesome Sugar Mama! They definitely have the best ice cream flavors we have ever tasted!
