Weddings celebrate the union of two individuals however a Multi Cultural wedding not only celebrates union of two individuals but also two cultures which is what makes it so exciting to shoot. Veena and Eric had a unique and fun engagement session theme as well. If you missed that one, don’t forget to check out the awesome photos.
Veena and Eric had a Multi Cultural Indian and French Fusion wedding. Their wedding venue was at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in Livermore, our favorite place to shoot, surrounded by lush green vineyards and olive trees, Casa Real evokes old world Luxury.
They had the catholic ceremony first, Veena wore a beautiful white gown for the ceremony. Immediately after the catholic ceremony was the traditional south indian hindu ceremony. Veena and Eric changed into traditional Indian clothes for this ceremony. Eric arrived on a white horse wearing a sherwani, followed by dancing and singing by friends and family in the Baraat. Veena wore a kanjeevaram saree with traditional south Indian gold jewelry that included gold waist belt, long braid with hair accessories, lots of flowers in her hair completed the south Indian traditional look. Garland exchange ended the hindu ceremony.
The wedding ceremonies was followed by a grand reception. They also wanted a same day edit for their reception. The same day edit took a lot of team work and preparation. We had an editor at the hotel, constantly editing and lot of hard work went into this same day edit. All the hard work paid off when in the end the guests were blown away with the same day edit that featured all ceremonies including, mehndi, sangeet, wedding ceremonies and photo sessions. The beautiful wedding decor was by Anais Events, they specialize in high end multi-cultural weddings and social events.
The night ended with great couple portrait shots at the Winery!
