When we do engagement photos, we go for a natural and fun approach. The experience the couple has is the most important. If they have a good time, then the photos will reflect that. So that is the secret to a great engagement shoot!
Spring and Fall are the two best times of year for engagement sessions, especially at Filoli. The reason why is weather and lighting! During these two seasons the weather is mild, not too hot and not too cold. The other reason is that the sun sets maybe around 6pm. Filoli closes at 5pm so the closer you are to sunset time, the better the lighting! During the spring they have lots of cherry blossoms and blooming flowers, and during Fall, they have their orchards open, as well as, some holiday themed photo spots made just for the holidays!
When it comes to posing, Wedding Documentary Photo and Cinema are masters and we ensure that we do the most flattering angles and posings during our photo shoots.
Our couples receive usually 150+ images and they are all edited and delivered within two weeks of their session.
