One of the great things about our job is to get to each and every one of our clients personally. We are fascinated by hearing why and how two people come together to form a union in marriage. For this special engagement shoot we did something a little different. In addition to the photos we took, we also did video and made what is called a “Love Story Film”. A Love Story film basically has the bride and groom both say what they love about the other person, how they met, and what they hope for in the future. It is a great way to hear in the couple’s words, about how they feel about one another. We use mostly their voiceovers over our video images to bring excitement and entertainment to what they are saying.
These films work well for a variety of uses but in this case, this Love Story film was shown before the bride and groom made their grand entrance into their reception. It was a surprise for their guests and everyone enjoyed it! We hope to do more Love Story Films in the future, taking each of our couple’s unique personalities and stories into account. These films would also work well on wedding websites, or to put on facebook when you first announce your engagement! It will be another exciting chapter on your DVD and without being heavily scripted, it is a realistic portrayal of what you were feeling! Enjoy!
