This was a beautiful Sikh wedding at The Nirvana Estate in Bakersfield, CA. It’s a private estate that hosts weddings and events and it’s stunning! It was the perfect location for this outdoor Sikh wedding and day time lunch reception.
We arrived super early to capture the bride getting ready and to photograph and film all her details. We loved the light pink lengha she chose as Guneet as amazing taste! The groom arrived ready but we shot some getting ready shots and portraits of him when he arrived.
The venue has two levels. The lower level is where the ceremony was held and the upper level had a tent where the breakfast and lunch would take place, as well as, several good photo spots in the driveway of the main house.
We used our time wisely to get excellent shots of the bride prior to the ceremony but also took the couple to this same area for their post wedding photo shoot.
The lunch was amazing and dancing ensued until it was time for the couple to the Doli ceremony and say farewell to their guests.
All in all, this was an amazing wedding in Bakersfield and we had so much fun the entire week. The couple are so sweet and so kind and we felt so comfortable working with them. We look forward to seeing them at future events!
