Rashmi and Ben had the pleasure of photographing Rupal and Jaynesh’s wedding at The Pullman in Redwood City (previously Sofitel) recently and love these images! We met Rupal and Jaynesh for the first time when they booked their engagement session with us last year. We had such a wonderful time with them and were pleasantly surprised when they contacted us for their wedding! We were so excited to work with them again!
The day started with getting ready with both the bride and groom getting ready. Rupal and Jaynesh love bright colors, Bollywood, and have a lot of fun people in their bridal party so that shows in their images. Even in the early morning, Jaynesh and his groomsmen have an infectious sense of humor that is hard to contain.
Prior to the Baraat, we did all their portraits to ensure that we made the most of the nice lighting in the morning and also the fact that hair and makeup is flawless right when it is done and later on, you never know what may happen. By shooting all the portraits early, we got a ton of great shots even before the ceremony, so everything we shot after was a bonus.
Rupal and Jaynesh’s ceremony was perfect and we love the golden light of the fire on their faces as they gave their offerings to Agni. After the ceremony was completed the bride and groom changed into their reception attire and we did another session with them before heading into the ballroom for the reception program.
Since Rupal and Jaynesh love Bollywood so much, their first dance was a perfectly choreographed love song where they both knew every word. It was spectacular and is even better in their wedding film. Once the dance floor opened up, it was a massive party and everyone had an amazing time.
