Palm Event Center is one of our favorite venues in Pleasanton for Indian weddings. During the Pandemic we got the opportunity to capture this intimate Telugu South Indian ceremony that was held completely outside.
When we arrived in the morning we captured a few details of them getting ready before doing their first-look. This allowed us to get some portraits with them in the morning light and before the hair and makeup gets ruined with all the rice throwing etc. We also recommend doing all the portraits in the morning before the ceremony as the Saree looks the best, and in the afternoon, the harsh sun makes several photo spots harder to shoot in.
We love capturing all the unique elements of the South Indian Hindu ceremony because they are a lot of fun and you get to be up close and capture fascinating perspectives and angles. The colors and emotions are next level when it comes to South Indian weddings and they can go from sentimental moments to really funny moments in a few minutes so there is a ton of variety.
