Annie and Hari had a beautiful wedding and reception at Nella Terra Cellars in Sonol, California. This amazing couple dated for five years, and during the COVID lockdown, they became engaged and were married in this beautiful winery among their friends and family.
We love shooting at Nella Terra Cellars because of the stunning bridal suite where the bride got ready with her bridesmaids. The groom got ready down in his area of the venue, and they met on the bridge for the first look.
What Hari thought was the first look turned out to be a big surprise, and it was a ton of fun to see everyone’s reaction. Then the real bride came and tapped him on the shoulder, and they saw each other, and you could tell how in love they are.
We did shots around the venue and had perfect lighting and weather, and then guests arrived, and their non-denominational, part-Christian, part-Hindu tradition wedding took place under the gazebo.
This was a very nice ceremony that blended multiple traditions and cultures yet felt very familiar to an American audience, and it was a really nice ceremony to photograph and film.
The reception had lots of speeches, performances, and the couple did an amazing first dance. The dance floor was super fly, and everyone had a good time. It was one of the best weddings we have ever done at Nella Terra Cellars.
Wedding documentary has been photographing and filming South Asian weddings at Nella Terra Cellars for over ten years. We shot the very first wedding they ever had there, which actually turned out to be the very first wedding they ever had there ever was an Indian wedding, and we shot it. They have continually developed the property and made it better for their clients, and we absolutely love it.
