Charlene and Manraj planned their Sikh wedding at the Sikh Temple in Sacramento. The bride got ready in Roseville while the groom prepared in Turlock. Both our teams met at the Gurudwara for the ceremony which took place in the morning on a very hot Saturday in June. After the ceremony I took the groom to Sac State where we took some photos before heading to Manraj’s house for the official welcoming of the bride into his home. Karan + Rajan | San Jose Sikh Wedding

What an amazing time we had working with Karan and Rajan over their five days of wedding festivities! They had a Mehndi, Maiyan ceremony for both the bride and groom, Sangeet nights for both the bride and groom, as well as, their wedding below and their reception which is in the next blog post!
Their traditional Sikh wedding ceremony took place at the San Jose Gurudwara Temple and over 500 guests filled the space to witness them tying the knot. After the ceremony we went over to the bride and groom’s house for games and a formal welcoming into Rajan’s home.
With over 9 events over 5 days we got a ton of coverage with both photo and cinema. Our team worked seamlessly together to get the best shots and we also planned a beautiful Same Day Edit that you can watch here.

I was so excited to photograph Charlene and Manraj’s wedding last weekend in Sacramento. They are a fun couple that knows how to have a good time! I really enjoyed their engagement session so when their wedding rolled around I knew it was going to be awesome! They had a wedding at the Sikh Temple in Sacramento and the groom prep took place in Turlock, while the bride prep took place in Roseville. After the ceremony we headed back to Manraj’s house in Turlock for the traditional welcoming of Charlene into their family.
Although it was well over 100 degrees that day we got tons of amazing shots! Minal Khatri from Bridal Henna Beauty did her lovely mehndi, makeup, and hair and we look forward to working with her again soon!
Riga + Ash | San Jose Sikh Wedding and Silver Creek Reception

Happy Friday! I am so happy the beautiful weather is here and wedding season is in full swing! We have an amazing year lined up with the most amazing couples! We are going to rock it every single weekend and keep pushing our imagery further and further!
I am so excited to share Riga and Ash’s Sikh Ceremony and Reception today! They got married at the San Jose Sikh Gurduwara, my all time favorite Sikh Temple in the entire state! After the wedding we went to Riga’s house for some games before heading over to Silver Creek Country Club for their lovely Reception. Silver Creek is an amazing venue and place to do photographs with the family and bridal party and we highly recommend it for Indian weddings.
I could write a ton about how much fun we had at this wedding. Both Riga and Ash’s family are amazing and we loved capturing all the emotions, excitement, details, and these stunning portraits.
